The mission of the Commission for Community Assistance, Arts and Special Events (CCAASE) is to develop, maintain, and encourage an environment conducive to the following community organizations.

Just For Kids serves children from birth through high school graduation throughout the San Miguel Watershed, including the towns of Telluride, Norwood, Nucla, Naturita, Paradox and all points in between.

The Town of Mountain Village Community Grant Program supports organizations that strengthen the Mountain Village community by funding programs, projects, and services that benefit residents and local businesses. Established to ensure funding is provided to initiatives that promote community services such as health and human services, education, athletics, arts and culture, early childhood programs, and environmental stewardship.

The Telluride Foundation’s Community Grants Program is a sustained effort to support local organizations that are addressing community issues consistent with our mission. The annual competitive grants program focuses on measuring outcomes and developing financially healthy nonprofits.
